There is one person on each card.
Questions include:
Sex of person interviewed.
Race of person interviewed.
Marital status of person interviewed.
Literacy status of person interviewed.
Any deficiencies of the senses of the person interviewed.
The person's name county, township, age, occupation, place of birth, years in South Dakota and in the United States are listed on the card.
The birthplace of the parents of the person interviewed is listed.
Finally the card number and the signature of the enumerator is written on the card.
To find the family you want, you need to look through all the cards to see where the enumerator was for each person.
Usually entire families were enumerated together, on the same date.
